These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC, a California limited liability company ("Alan's Cleaning," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), regarding your access to and use of alancleans.net (the "Website") and any services, communications, or related products we provide (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Website, submitting a contact form, engaging our services, or receiving communications from us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or our Services.

By using the Website or requesting Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, please do not use the Website or submit personal information through any form.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on the Website with an updated "Last Reviewed" date. For material changes, we will provide notice at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Website or our Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

You may use this Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

- Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information through any form, or impersonate any other person or entity
- Attempt to interfere with the Website's security, performance, or anti-abuse systems (including Cloudflare Turnstile)

- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify Website content without our written consent
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Website for commercial purposes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website at any time without notice.
5. Free Estimates
When you request a free estimate through our Website, by phone, by email, or by text, you are under no obligation to hire Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC.

- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated in writing
- Final pricing may vary based on on-site assessment, actual project scope, and conditions discovered during the work (for example, additional cleaning passes required, surface damage revealed, or hard-to-reach areas)
- We reserve the right to withdraw or revise an estimate if information provided at the time of estimate is inaccurate or incomplete
6. Our Services
Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC provides residential and commercial cleaning services in California, including:
- Residential power and pressure washing
- House and siding washing
- Driveway, patio, and hardscape cleaning
- Window cleaning
- Gutter cleaning
- Solar panel cleaning
- Commercial power washing
All services are performed in accordance with industry standards and applicable California regulations. We are insured in the State of California. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Service agreement:
All services are subject to a separate written service agreement provided before work begins. That agreement will detail:
- Scope of work and surfaces or areas to be cleaned
- Cleaning methods, products, and equipment to be used
- Project schedule and expected duration
- Total cost and payment terms
- Any applicable warranty or re-service coverage
- Access, water, and utility requirements on the customer side
The service agreement is separate from these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the service agreement controls for that specific project.
7. Customer Responsibilities
To help us deliver service safely and effectively, you agree that before and during service:
- You own or are authorized to request service for the property
- You will provide safe access to the service area and reasonable access to water and power when needed
- You will inform us of any fragile items, plants, pets, or surfaces that require special care or avoidance
- You will remove or secure personal belongings, vehicles, patio furniture, and other movable items from the service area, unless otherwise agreed
- You will close windows, doors, and sensitive electrical outlets in the service area prior to pressure washing
- You will inform us of any pre-existing damage or defects (cracked concrete, loose siding, rotted wood, damaged screens, etc.)
We are not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow these responsibilities or by pre-existing conditions not disclosed before work begins.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of a completed service, contact us within 14 days of service completion and we will return to address the issue at no additional cost, subject to the following:
- The issue must be within the scope of the original service agreement
- You must provide reasonable access for re-service
- Re-service does not apply to damage caused by weather, ongoing property conditions, or activities not under our control that occur after completion
This satisfaction guarantee is in addition to any warranty specified in your service agreement.
9. Limitations on Service
Some property conditions can cause damage during cleaning even when we follow best practices. To protect your property:
- We may decline to clean surfaces that show signs of structural damage, rot, loose material, or poor previous repair
- We may adjust pressure or use gentler methods than requested to avoid property damage
- We do not perform structural repairs, mold remediation, or lead-safe work practices (RRP rule) unless expressly agreed in a separate written scope
We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing property conditions that were not reasonably visible before work began.
10. Contact Form and Communications
When you submit a contact form on our Website, call us, or email us:
- A team member will respond by email, phone, or text message (if you opted in for SMS) within normal business hours
- There is no obligation to purchase Services as a result of your inquiry
- Information you provide is handled according to our Privacy Policy (see /privacy on alancleans.net)
11. Payment and Cancellations
Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. Generally:
- Estimates are free
- Payment is typically due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (processed through third-party payment processors)
Cancellations:
- You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time without charge
- Cancellations or reschedules requested with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee as described in your service agreement
- We reserve the right to reschedule service due to weather, equipment issues, or safety concerns, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance
Disputed charges: If you have a billing dispute, contact us at alan@alancleans.net or (949) 457-1227 before initiating a chargeback. We will work to resolve the dispute in good faith.
12. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number on our Website, via our contact form, or through our staff and opting in to receive text messages, you agree to the following SMS terms.
Program Description:
If you opt in, you may receive SMS/text messages from Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC related to:
- Confirmation that we received your inquiry
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling
- Project updates (arrival times, crew status, service completion)
- Follow-up on your service (quality check, re-service requests)
- Billing and payment reminders
- Promotional offers (only if you separately consent to promotional messages)
Sample message (conversational):
"Alan's Cleaning: Hi [name], confirming your power washing appointment on [date] at [time] with technician [name]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. (949) 457-1227"
Opt-In Method:
You only receive texts if you opt in, for example by:
- Submitting an online form on our Website with the SMS consent checkbox marked
- Texting us directly to start a conversation
- Otherwise providing written or electronic consent to receive texts
Your consent to receive promotional texts is NOT a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your engagement with us, service schedule, and whether you opted in to promotional messages. You may receive up to approximately 5 messages per week during active service relationships, plus occasional follow-ups.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan. Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC is not responsible for any carrier charges incurred. Rates may differ for domestic and international messages.
Opt-Out (STOP): You can cancel SMS at any time by replying STOP to any text. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and you will not receive further texts from that program unless you opt in again.
Help (HELP): For help, reply HELP to any text message, or contact us at (949) 457-1227 or alan@alancleans.net, or via our contact page at alancleans.net/contact.
Carrier Disclaimer: All major US mobile carriers are supported. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery: Messages may be sent using automated messaging technology and may be delivered through third-party messaging service providers. Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier and device availability.
Data Sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services (such as customer service, messaging platforms, or technical support) is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may reference or link to third-party websites, tools, or services, including (but not limited to):
- Google (Maps, Analytics, Ads, Business Profile, Reviews)
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram)
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, and bot detection)
- Go High Level (customer relationship management)
- Payment processors
We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, products, or services. Your use of third-party services is governed by those third parties' own terms and privacy policies.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, photos of completed work, design, and arrangement, is the property of Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC or used under license, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any Website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Before/after photos of your property:
We may take and use before/after photos of completed work for business records and, with your permission, marketing and portfolio use. If you do not want photos of your property used in marketing, tell your service technician or email us at alan@alancleans.net.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Website and Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, available at alancleans.net/privacy. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your information, including California CCPA/CPRA rights and SMS consent record keeping.
16. Disclaimers
The Website and its content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim:
- Any warranty that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
- Any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement in connection with the Website
- Any responsibility for third-party content or services linked from the Website
Service warranties (where offered) are governed by your individual service agreement.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Website, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Website shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
This limitation does not apply to our obligations under a signed service agreement, which is governed by the liability terms in that agreement.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable California law, including for personal injury, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those states, these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC, its owner, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses) arising from:
- Your misuse of the Website or Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or property rights
- False or incomplete information you provided regarding your property or project
19. Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution:
To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Terms, you agree to first contact us at alan@alancleans.net or (949) 457-1227 and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and fairly through direct communication. You agree to attempt informal resolution for at least thirty (30) days before initiating any formal legal proceeding.
Binding arbitration (optional consumer election):
If the informal resolution does not succeed, you and we may (by mutual agreement) submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and, where applicable, its Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes. Arbitration, if chosen, will take place in Orange County, California, unless the parties agree otherwise.
Exceptions to arbitration:
Either party may pursue the following in court without prior arbitration:
- Claims for injunctive relief
- Claims to enforce or protect intellectual property rights
- Claims in small claims court within its jurisdictional limit
Class action waiver:
You and we agree that any dispute will be brought on an individual basis only, not as a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
20. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and your use of the Website and Services are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. You agree that you will not bring any claim in any other jurisdiction.
21. California Users and Residents
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California residents are entitled to the following specific consumer rights notice:

22. Electronic Communications

23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, any signed service agreements, and any other written policies we provide, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alan's Cleaning & Power Washing LLC regarding your use of the Website and Services. These Terms supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings regarding the Website.
